OBITUARY
Mr Edward Healey
Mr. Edward Healey, an old identity of Bairnsdale passed away at his home "Riverbank" Bairnsdale, on Friday last, aged 65 years. The late Mr Healey, who is survived by his wife and family of one son and one daughter, was a brother of Mr Geo Healey, Bairnsdale, and Mr. Fred Healey, Bruthen. The funeral took place on Saturday, the interment being made in the Bairnsdale Cemetery, where many friends assembled at the graveside. The services of the Church of England was conducted by the Rev. Southey and Mr. A. McPherson read the service of the Independent Order of Rechabites. The coffin bearers were Messrs A. Healey, J Henrick, G Ray and A Cormack, and the pall-bearers Messrs R, C, and G Healey, L Ward, G Pincott and S Evett. The funeral arrangements were made by C. H. Vicken.

corner property was Montford Docwra's brewery and bakery in 1813 complete with off-licence in 1851. He married Elizabeth Malden, widow of Ebenezer Malden brewer of Eaton Socon. By 1839 he was described as a brewer, cooper, corn, seed & hops merchant also a confectioner. After Elizabeth died c1855 their daughter Sarah Kingsley, already a widow traded as a confectioner and her sister was a tea dealer. Their son William was a brewer and cooper. A letter heading in 1865 described Montford Docwra as an ale & porter brewer.

By 1871 He was assisted by Sarah Kingsley as housekeeper and grandson James Kingsley was assistant brewer. James Kingsley opened his own brewery in Rose Lane see 5/4/07. After Montford Docwra died in 1876, his daughter, Elizabeth Woodham, took over the business as a baker & confectioner together with her son Montford Woodham who was a dairyman. Her husband Nodes Woodham a market gardener had already passed away two years earlier.

He married Kisten Elore Jensen on June 20, 1918 in Junction, Piute County, Utah. He died on August 31, 1950 in Price, Utah. Interment, Price Cemetery, Utah. After his death in 1950, his wife, Kisten Jensen Webb, married Taliesin Whimpey Evans on August 28, 1956.
