Notes - There was an Elizabeth Clements who was christened 28 Jan 1792 in Frome. Her parents were Thomas Clements and Joan Ames. This was thought to have been our Elizabeth, but I found the following entry at fromeresearch.org which indicates that she was christened late, after her marriage to William, and her mother's name was Susanna.

The 1841 England Census shows Elizabeth was in the household of William Whimpey at Wine Street, Frome, Somerset. She was age 45, occupation wool picker, born in Somerset.
The 1851 England Census shows Elizabeth was in the household of William Wimpey at Fountain Lane, Frome, Somerset. She was his wife, age 61, occupation wool picker, birthplace Frome, Somerset.
Elizabeth died of pneumonia at the age of 67. She was the wife of William Wimpy, a general laborer. The informant was Mary Ann Cummins. William's mother Rebekah Dredge married a Thomas Commons/Cummins - is there a connection?
