The 1851 England Census shows Stephana was living at District 5a Meldreth Cambridgeshire She was the head of the household, a widow, age 64, annuitant, birthplace Bassingbourn, Cambs. Also in the household were her daughters Stephana and Jane, scholars Fanny Nicholson, Jain Whitchurch, Lucy Whitchurch, Alfred Whitchurch and servant Isabella Beaumont.
