Notes |
- At the time of her death she was living at St Arnaud. Her occupation was home duties. She died from cholema, 6 days carcenoma of pancreas, 1 year, cirrhosis of liver, 10 years. Her parents were Henry Hooton, occupation not known, and Emma Stevens. The informant was A V Kelly, Authorised Agent, St Arnaud. The undertaker was E N Kell and the minister was Rev. J B Allison, Presbyterian. She was born in Melbourne and had lived all her life in Victoria.
Although her death certificate shows she was married to William Hill, they appear to have not been married, as their sons William and Sydney were registered under the names Wells and Hill, which generally happened when the parents of a child weren't married, but the father was listed.
