  At the time of her death her surname was Simpson. An Irene Elsie Holt married Frank Dawson in 1935 in Victoria. The Electoral rolls shows Irene Elsie Holt in 1935 at Berwick, Flinders, Victoria Irene Elsie Dawson in 1936 at Morwell, Gippsland, Victoria In 1937 Irene Elsie Dawson and Frank Dawson were living at 210 Drummond St Carlton. In 1943 Irene Elsie Dawson was at 51 Canterbury Rd Albert Park. Since Irene died in 1966 at Dandenong, and her surname at the time of her death was Simpson, I then worked back from her death There were two Irene Elsie Simpsons in 1963, one at Broadmeadows, the other at Keysborough. The one at Keysborough was more consistent with her dying at Dandenong. Irene Elsie Simpson was in 1963 at 117 Fifth Ave Chelsea Heights. Also at this address was Alex Osborne Simpson In 1954 there were again two Irene Elsie Simpsons, one at Fitzroy, the other at Oakleigh. The Oakleigh page showed Irene Elsie Simpson and Alexander Osborne Simpson were living at 87 Willesden rd. Alexander and Irene were living at the same address on the 1949 Electoral roll. I was unable to find any Irene Elsie Simpson before the 1949 Electoral roll. This seems to indicate that the Irene Elsie Holt who married Frank Dawson was the Irene Elsie Holt in my tree. I will need to get either her death certificate, or the marriage certificate for Irene and Frank to be sure.
